The social welfare and health care services of the town of Kokemäki are provided by the Joint Municipal Authority for Social Welfare and Health Care of Central Satakunta (Kessote).

Library

The Kokemäki library offers comprehensive library services. It also organises various events, themed days, and exhibitions. In addition to the main library, Kokemäki also has a smaller library in Kauvatsa.

Sports and exercise

Kokemäki offers plenty of opportunities for sports and recreation.

Kokemäki also has a public swimming pool, which was renovated in 2005 (address: Koulupolku 5, 32800 Kokemäki).
